Stations to Celebrate Anniversary of FT8DMC

Special-event stations will be air-bone to celebrate the fourth anniversary of FT8DMC, from 2 to 15 of August 2021. The stations will be bear FTDMC or FTDM suffix. Awards can be earned by working with these stations and collecting points applicable for various award classes.

The FT8 is a digital mode used for amateur radio communication and is the latest in the series of weak signal applications for amateur radio. This was jointly developed by Joe Taylor and Steve Franke (K9AN) and is popular among amateur radio operators due to its ability to send signals despite challenging situations. FT8DMC (FT8 Digital Mode Club) is a platform for users of FT8 and similar modes.
