Garden City CW Contest for VU and 4S7 hams will be conducted as the schedule given below:


Date : 27 Sept 2008 06.00am to 28.sept 2008 18.00 hrs (IST).

Freq 7.000MHz to 7.040MHz (40 meters)



Reports should be given as RST with number (E.g. 599 001 , 599 002), and the first to eight placement will be get rewards. Programme sponsors are VU2DEV for rewards and VU2FI for certificates.

We have extreame pleasure to announce that the effort behind our dream project have been a success, and recently we got the call sign for our dream repeater VU2DFD (Frequency 144.475 + Standard 600 kHz Shift).



The proposed new repeater will be erected in the eastern side of Pathanamthitta district in Kerala. Preliminary steps to erect the same have begun, and testing for critical reports, direction, fading, and sensitivity have started.
