Calicut VHF Repeater (VU2CSR) has been switched on for testing. It is located near to Calicut city and may accessible from northern part of Kerala. The frequency is 145.625 (-600Hz shift).

Thiruchengode repeater [vu2tcd] has been shifted to a new location.The new location is said to be higher by about 250 feet compared to the old repeater's location. The signal strength and coverage has considerably improved.There are stations from as far as Madras and Bangalore comfortably working through this repeater.There is strong feeling that Mysore stations can also access this repeater without any difficulty.

On September 12^th the Madras Second VHF Repeater VU3MVR operatiing on 145.675MHz -Shift completing its 14 years of operation. The members of Madras VHF Club determined to make this service available to many more years to come. Happy VHF via VU3MVR.
