Problem with multi pic programmer 5v2

Hey friends please help me out ....
I recently built this programmer 5v2 from feng3 web site.... http://feng3.nobody.jp/en/pg5v2.html and i am facing problems....
when i connect the programmer to the serial port, it works like a charm but when i try to program PIC16F628A, PIC16F630 ..... it never succeeds so please guys help me out and i have tried all the free softwares available on the internet but non them help.... Try after selecting the PIC manually.

I tried it...... long before using many programmers ic prog, win pic, winpic800 etc etc

Fundamentally some drivers may not work under win7. Which opearting system do you use?

Works like charmthe, try to explain. Under winpic800 software there is a facility for checking the hearware, of course without facing the target chip. did your programmer pass that test? If you have a digital or analog multimeter, perhaps you can even measure the Vdd and VPP voltages while a read operation is ON .

The pcb published in hamradio.in was designed fior using 2n3904 for npn and 2n3906 for pnp transistors. In case you have used BC54* series, the device is to be reverse mounted. i hope you had seen this isntruction.

if some other board you have selected from FENG's site, please indicate the link to specific photo, or upload the specific pcb and the related schematic.

While posting your pcb , please take pain to use some g\ditial camera with a close up setting ( mostly shown with a flower or leaf symbol. Try to opload both the solder and component sides.

like charm ment that the programmers detected the hardware nd even passed the test and i tried each and every step u mentioned nd sorry dude i dont posses a digital camera and i used the same transistors which were mentioned in the list.... 2n3904 and 2n3906 but nothing works.... nyways i gave up and m looking for a cheap programmer for both ic's pic16f630, pic16f628 for bout 150- 300 inr...... tell me if ny 1 has ny suggestions
