If you can't operate with same type remote shows in the article, then the OSCAL value of the PIC may be corrupted. This uses NEC remote control protocol and requires a reasonable timing accuracy, and it won't response to other types of remotes such as used for TV/CD player etc. because we need to reduce other remotes interferences.

You will get details from SB projects website

Hi,
Due to some reasons I couldn't give the source now, but the remote controller code is here
http://www.sbprojects.com/projects/ircontrol/nec.php

Only the remote controller is depends on the timing accuracy, all other functions doesn't, so it works. It seems that you need to set OSCAL properly.

Hi,
You need to check your assembled unit. Here we have make a dozen of units and all are working without such problems. What really happened to a microcontroller if you removed and insert it back!!

But even the microcontroller doesn't reset, it should be continue its normal operation, I had tested it here. Anyway glad to know that it is working.

Hi,
If you are looking for a modification of "Remote Controlled Fan Regulator With Timer", it is not available. But search in google, you can find one.

Dear Sahu jee,
people design circuits to their needs and desires. we use then just as hobby. we can be better called kit builders with no specific knowledge of software, as we just use HEX file.
as long as me and you want to be microcontroller users , while we are yet to learn the software writing, we cant have our requirements.

the positive advise is , please learn the software section of it. may be assembly language, if you are into engineering edu, or BASIC or C language if you are already learning C in college.

in a 100 days time, you become a moderate software writer, depending on your age and enthusiasm.

all the best.
Regards
Sarma
